Dearest (or not so much) Buffalo Sabres:

Did you ever have one of those days where you're pretty depressed by life in general, but you know that if your team wins it will somehow make everything seem just a little better?
Thanks for helping a girl out...Or not...

Maybe I'll write more tomorrow because if I try now it will pretty much be a bitter diatribe against Derek, Andrej, the powerplay, the penalty kill, and that damn goal horn.

Let's just say Overreaction Central is in full swing tonight - to the point where I almost said I didn't want my Captain Craig jersey...almost...

PS: Dear Sidney Crosby:
You better hope Colby Armstrong brings out the warm fuzziness in you when you play Atlanta on the 20th - because I strongly dislike you again.

So true Sabre Sister! Chops is not Chops without Army - this may be why it was so easy for me to dislike him tonight...

Why is Cap'n Craig not fighting any more? I want to see him fight again! What happened to that Craig that came out of the gates all full of gusto?

I hope he's just saving some of that gusto to beat the crud out of the Flyers when I go to the game Friday. Really, though, I keep forgetting that he is coming off knee surgery and should probably be still off the ice right now. We just have very high expectations for our Captain.

Everytime that goal horn sounded, my mom was like 'Okay, seriously, YOU CAN STOP WITH THE HORN NOW.' I love the Penguins, but I never realized how freaking annoying that horn was until recently.

And I think Friday night, when I went to the game, I wanted to stab Derek Roy slowly with toothpicks. I still want to. I love him and Vanek on the same line, but when they were split yesterday, I was ecstatic. THANK. GOD.

That seems so painful but such a worthy punishment right now. Derek is totally leading my list of players that I would like to punch repeatedly in their pretty faces with brass knuckles.
